Bob Mahoney and Hart Rossmann will be speaking at this year's RSA Conference on Good Advice or Candy from Strangers: A field guide to the Security Internet" Hart is the Chief Security Technologist for SAIC's Integrated Security and System Solutions business unit.

August 15-16, 2006: MIT's
Security Camp 2006
Bob Mahoney presented at MIT's 2006 Security Camp event, discussing a recent project considering the role of the Verdasys, Inc. "Digital Guardian" product in a Defense-in-Depth strategy. The presentation focused on defeating Zero-Day attacks, and the relevance to incident response and management.

June 30, 2005:
FIRST Conference 2005 - Singapore
Adam D'Amico presented "Strategies for Achieving Network Intelligence" at the 17th annual FIRST Conference on Computer Security Incident Handling in Singapore.

June 9, 2005: IISFA meeting - Boston
Bob Mahoney spoke on "Network Incident Response" at the International Information Systems Forensics Association quarterly meeting.

February 16, 2005: RSA Conference 2005 - San Francisco
Sherri Davidoff and Bob Mahoney presented "Large Event Management: Techniques, Challenges, and Things to Try When the Wheels Come Off" at this year's RSA Conference.

December 1, 2004: E-Gov Homeland Security Conference - Washington, DC
Bob Mahoney participated in a panel at the E-Gov Institute's Homeland Security Conference in Washington, D.C. The panel topic was "Incident Management Strategies".

June 15, 2004: FIRST Conference 2004 - Budapest
Sherri Davidoff and Bob Mahoney spoke at the 16th Annual FIRST Conference on Computer Security Incident Handling in Budapest, Hungary. The presentation and related paper were titled: Incident Response and Large Event Handling in Research Universities. The presentation was extremely well received, and the paper is now available as part of the EDUCAUSE Resource Center.

2004: NIAC Study Group
Bob Mahoney participated in a study group assisting the National Infrastructure Advisory Council's "Internet Hardening Working Group" (IHWG). The IHWG developed recommendations for the White House in order to better protect the Internet from current and future threats.
